Earlier in the year we were watching the eggs that the swans had laid. Their nest was just below the bridge where we walk the dogs every day. People stopped to look and as hatching time grew near more and more people could be seen hanging around waiting to see the first sign of the cygnets.
In the end 5 of the 6 eggs hatched.
The photos show the cygnets from May until last week. They can regularly be seen on the river with their parents.

Hallo Lynne,
How nice to see those little ones grow up, the mother looks very proud. This spring we had a birdsnest with 11 baby bluetits in our mailbox !!(pictures on my blog) I love nature, don't you ?
Greetings, Janneke.
Thank you for visiting me over here Janneke. I did see your baby birds on your blog, and waited to see how they did. They were lovely. Seeing things like the baby birds and swans grow up is always so uplifting don't you think?
I hope you will call again, Lynne
