August already.
This year seems to be flying by.
Our walks with the hounds today
have taken us
above the vineyards,
through woods
and overlooking the river.
This morning we stayed on this side of the river.
It was rather grey.
But still beautiful.
In the afternoon,
we crossed the river,
and walked in the shade,
it was so hot.
The river has gone from grey to blue.
All in a day.

Clearly you live in the most lovely spot and how wonderful to be able to walk from home into such glorious countryside.
What amazing views ! And lovely long hill walks for the houndies. The whippet boys here are envious ... it's been too hot for doing much more than lying about on the patio or mooching about in the field..

Such lovely photos ... I just can't believe how quickly this year is going by ... hopefully it slows down soon (though perhaps that's wishful thinking).
