Little Things

X is for Kiss.
Continuing with A-Z Monday
or to be more exact
Z to A Monday as we work back up through the alphabet to A
with Jen at http://unglazed.blogspot.com/

Every now and then I send my grandson something.

At Eastertime it was a snowflake of Easter Bunnies,

At Hallowean

I made him a bat and a ghost out of fabric.

Just little somethings

for a 4 year old.

One time I added a row of cutout paper kisses.

A row for him,

a row for Mummy,

a row for Daddy

and a row for his Uncle.

He loved them.

Time to send him some more.

Note that this has been posted late.

When working on it

the computer decided to shut down!

So I had to return to it

on the spare computer

when it was free.

Oh that is sweet! I bet he loves his postal surprises! I love doing paper cut outs but I often get a bit confused and cut the connecting line!
I am not sure if you do awards but I wanted to include you as it is a circle of friends award and you are my friend. So thanks for that!

Sorry about your computer - I kept clicking on your blog to check in on you. I love the idea of the cut out paper kisses. It was always such a joy to receive mail when I was a child. I know your grandson smiles big when he receives your surprises. Glad you were able to get your X posted!

Hi Lynne, thank you for your lovely comment, I will add you to my blogroll so I can visit regulary.
Our doggie, Foxy, got another tick on her last week, as did our youngest dog, Scrappy! They are horrid things! But we managed to remove them, so far, no more have appeared on them!
I love Lark Rise To Candleford, the book and the show, I think they are wonderful. I have the illustrated Cider With Rosie, and the normal paperback book, I also have the film adaptation, another classic story.
Will be posting piccies of my crochet projects soon.
Take Care
Love Melanie xxxx

What a lovely idea! Children love getting parcels in the mail! He will be able to hang the paper kisses in his room.

What a sweet idea for your grandson!

Hope your computer starts feeling better. Ours isn't up to snuff either and the bad thing is, our computer guru in this town has closed up shop. I am freaking out...if it crashes, I am not going to know what to do and will be having severe withdrawal!

I've just visited your blog and it has already become one of my favourites. I liked the title so I thought I may like it and I was right. It's great! I love your pictures of flowers.

The child still enjoys playing with his Halloweeny bat and ghost, they now live in a cauldron. He loves to colour in the kisses 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaall different colours' :)

Fantastic idea for the letter X and how clever to send a row of them. I will have to remember and steal this idea for Valentine's.
Hope you are having a good week!
