Blogtoberfest Day 20, Tidy Gardens

Setting off down the stairs with the Hounds for their morning walk, I stopped to take this photo of the sun pouring through the blinds in the spare room. Just perfect, the position of the shadow beneath the hat I thought.
We've had a few days of sunshine now after that wintry weather. I've even been doing a bit of gardening wearing a sleeveless top. It was just bordering on being cool. People round here seem to be very keen on keeping their gardens tidy, so much so that as soon as the leaves fall they are swept up. We've a long way to go with this garden before it comes up to scratch. I'll just have to hope that the sun continues to shine!

I love those serendipitous moments when a picture is perfect, and you actually have a camera handy! Very nice!

What a perfect photo opportunity! We've had a day much like you and yard work is very pleasant this time of the year. I hope it continues for all of us. I bet the hounds enjoyed their walk.

Today was lovely here, although the last few were rather chilly. Love the photo! :D

Hi Lynne, you and one other blog friend had asked about the chocolate set. I did some study and have just posted what I learned. Hope you have time to look at it over the next day or so. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Lynne, have enjoyed catching up on your posts and thought of you while up in Newcastle this week. Sadly didn't see much except the station and my office this time 'round but I always enjoy heading that way. I'm planning a trip to stay with friends in Northumbria for a long weekend in December and am so looking forward to exploring a bit further afield - I've never been into the space between Newcastle and Edinburgh except on a train passing through. It looks so very beautiful - can't wait!

As for the sun, do enjoy it :) We've got cold and wet and grey here today... Yurgh!
